Officers will conduct dorm talks in any residential hall upon request. This is an opportunity to familiarize new students with the Police Department and to share new information and answer questions with the returning students. During the dorm talks, we discuss relevant college and town policies and procedures, share crime prevention and general safety information and raise awareness about the other services and resources that are offered through the Police. During the academic year we will return to the dorms at the request of the residents or the Residential Counselors to discuss specific issues that are relevant to the residents of that building or to address any incidents that may have arisen. Police also conducts regular "Fatal Vision" Dorm Talks. This is an opportunity for students to learn about alcohol and impairment and to try various activities while wearing the Fatal Vision impairment goggles.
