Students who major in Latinx and Latin American Studies will engage in major debates within the field while critically examining the diverse histories and cultures of Latin America, the Caribbean and U.S. Latinxs. In addition to taking courses across the three regions, students will define an area of concentration, take relevant courses across three academic disciplines (including at least two courses taught in a language spoken in Latin America and the Caribbean), and complete LLAS 200, a research/methods seminar, and a senior capstone.
