Speaking contests and speaking prizes have been favorite traditions at Amherst since the very beginning of the College’s history, and this year we were proud to continue the tradition virtually! The theme for this year’s speaking competition was “Freedom.”

Student speakers competed remotely on February 25, 2021. We’ve announced the winners below; also below, please enjoy the recording of the event.
