Form 1098-T for Tax Year 2023

Form 1098-T will be available to students electronically in Workday by the end of the day on January 31, 2024.

*Students trying to elect Paperless Delivery of the form may encounter a "print" error message which will not allow you to complete the process. Unfortunately the error will not be fixed for this term and paper copies will also be mailed to the permanent address on file.

More detailed information and FAQ's on the 1098-T form can be found here.

Other information:

-Spring tuition payment is due in full January 16, 2024.

-Spring Tuition Insurance and Health Insurance waivers have been extended to February 16, 2024.

Amherst College generates an electronic tuition statement each semester. The Spring term billing email notification will be available December 15, 2023 and the balance due must be received on or before January 16, 2024. All payment plan arrangements through Nelnet Campus Commerce to cover the spring term balance must also be established and up to date by the payment due date of January 16th. Additional billing statements are issued monthly online during each semester, which will include any miscellaneous charges, fees, fines or credits that are posted to the student’s account statement.

Email notifications will be sent to students and their Authorized Users (“Family and Friends”) each time a new statement has been uploaded to the account. These statements can be viewed online in Workday.

Failure to clear an open balance can result in a student's inability to register for classes, participate in housing selection and return to campus for the Fall 2024 semester. Additionally holds on a student's grades, diploma and transcripts are also applicable when an unpaid balance remains.
