Occasionally you may need to set or switch your default authentication device, the one that Duo uses to challenge you without you needing to choose the device to use everytime.

You may also wish to change whether or not Duo asks about the authentication device to use everytime you log in.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the College Web site to get Duo to challenge you.
  2. If Duo is already set to automatically send one of your devices an authentication request, click on the button Cancel.
  3. Click on the link My Settings & Devices;
  4. Select your preferred Default Device;
  5. Select what happens When you log in, either Choose an authentication method everytime or Automatically send the default device an authentication request.
  6. Click the button Save.
