Amherst College's Leadership Council was created in 2023 to serve as an important partner to the president and the senior leadership team on issues that are critical to the fulfillment of the institution’s mission.
The group, composed of members of senior staff and their key divisional leaders, serves as a critical two-way conduit for information and input that actively advances institutional strategy and key initiatives, like the president’s priorities, and supports shared leadership and the organizational continuity of the College.
