12/3/2022 VP Special Election

The 2022-23 AAS VP Special Election has finished. Below is the result:

  • Vice President: Ankit Sayed '24

Update 12/5:

A concern was raised about a disprepency between the number of ballots casts total and the number of votes counted in round 1. After investigating the situation, the Elections Commitee discovered 5 ballots that were not accounted for because the voter did not select a first choice (but ranked a second or third choice or so on), and therefore slipped through the first round count. A recount was then conducted. Accounting for these five ballots unfortunately altered the results of the election.
