  • You have an idea for a pedagogical innovation that you want to try, and you would like some support and advice in experimenting with your idea.
  • You are curious about emerging research on effective learning practices for diverse student groups and you would like to explore how to integrate them into your teaching.
  • You would like someone trained in observation to visit your class and provide you feedback.

To request or dicuss any of the above, please schedule a meeting or contact us directly.  Depending on your request, we will organize and coordinate resources accordingly.  Please see our About Us page for more specifics about our individual areas of responsibility.

We work closely and collaborate with other departments on campus that support teaching and learning including Academic Technology Services, the Center for Community Engagement, Moss Quantitative Center, Research & Instruction Librarians, and Writing Center.  The Center for Teaching and Learning is one partner in an array of pedagogical support at Amherst College and we can help connect you with the resources you need.
