Self-Help: Student Employment

The usual expectation is that a student will be able to earn about $1,800 in 2023-2024 from work during the academic year. This expectation represents about four to five hours of work each week on campus. Job opportunities include work in the College's food service, physical plant, libraries, laboratories, art gallery and studios, and academic and administrative offices. The range of hourly wages for student employment on campus in 2022-2023 is no less than $15.25 per hour.

International students are eligible for institutional employment, but are not eligible for employment under the Federal Work-Study Program.
