The Office of Sponsored Research and Foundation Relations (OSRFR) works with faculty members to find opportunities and submit applications for external funding to advance their research and teaching. In addition to supporting research, the OSRFR also pursues and stewards foundation and government grants to support college programs and priorities. We conduct information sessions on popular funding opportunities and research related topics and welcome inquiries from faculty and college administrators with questions or requests for support.

The office works closely with leadership in the Provost and Dean of the Faculty’s office. We also collaborate with the Senior Research Administrator in the Office of the Controller, who is in charge of post-award financial management. The OSRFR assists in non-financial post-award reporting and stewardship.

The OSRFR is located on the second floor of the Pontypool Building, at 22 Snell Street. It is just around the corner from Smith House.
