For Average-Sized Requisitions (about 1-25 students)
- About six weeks before the desired start date, identify a need and define the position.
- Create a job requisition that accurately captures the position's requirements and the qualities/experience managers seek.
- Once your job requisition has been approved and posted by the Student Employment Office, begin reviewing applications. Decline any applications that don't meet the minimum criteria and begin interviewing candidates.
- Move successful candidates to the "offer" stage in Workday.
- Before the desired start date, please ensure that all selected candidates have been hired, are reporting to the right manager in Workday, and have completed all new hire onboarding tasks (if applicable), including form I-9.
