CRG Proposal Form

Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) at Amherst College create an affirming gathering space for people of shared identities, experiences and/or interests to build community, inform the Amherst College culture, and help work towards the College’s mission, values and efforts towards inclusion of historically marginalized communities, engagement and professional development.*

*The college will not endorse any group that forms on the basis of practices that discriminate against protected classes, in accordance with the college’s non-discrimination policy.

We welcome proposals for new CRGs that community members believe will meet the needs of the staff and faculty community and serve the CRG mission. To propose a new CRG, please complete the form below. Rocky Wood will review it and notify you of the outcome of your proposal. Please be aware that the number of new CRGs approved each year will depend on budgetary allowances.
